      Ok, I will. Juneteenth commemorates the arrival of federal forces to subdue an insurrectionary state that was committed to the continuation of slavery "in all future time." That doesn't exactly fit the narrative, does it? tsl.texas.gov/ref/abouttx/secession/2feb1861.html
