2. I had been procrastinating for a few days about writing part of a writing rubric for students. (Ironic, I know.)

3. All the usual suspects were at play: distraction, perfectionism, etc. The why’s aren’t important here; the point is I wouldn’t start.

4. So I finally just set a timer (h/t @nmhouston) to work on it for 15 minutes at a time, interspersed with 3 minute breaks.
