Wondering how many times I will have to relearn what works for me when writing: (1) writing EVERY DAY towards a reachable word count goal +

(2) logging those daily word counts so I can see progress over time; (3) writing only before 2 p.m., & never self-editing until after 2 +

(4) setting up a regular reward system for myself so that when I meet cumulative word count goals (e.g., 9,000 over 2 weeks), I celebrate. +

That’s what has always worked for me; it’s what’s working now; and I’m putting this here to remember (again) if ever I fall off the wagon. -
